IIRC, 1.2.x derived a symmetric session key from the symmetric
passphrase... is that still the case with 1.4.x?

i'm also curious if it would be feasible to make "--override-session-key"
work with encryption. this would allow some packet-hacking to produce a
message that can be decrypted with multiple symmetric passphrases. of
course it would also be nice if this could be done by using "-c" multiple
times.
