multi process safety

Hi,

I was wondering: if 2 processes (not threads, processes that are invoked
from e.g. the command line) do a gpg --recv-key so that they both want
to fiddle with ~/.gnupg/pubring.gpg, will that break things? Or does
gnupg do locking?
