GnuPG cannot import PGP 7 key?

I am soo stupid (or tired?) - please forgive me for wasting your time - j=

found out that this wasn't a public key but an encrypted text!  :(

Yes, fine GnuPG _can_ handle PGP 7 keys and all my 'problems' are gone
so I hope you did not spent too many minuted twondering about a possible
bug there...
