Can't compile gpa, getting error in make

Hello,

I tried to compile gpa 0.5.0 but make exits. Here is what it says:

I'm Using Debian 2.2, gtk+ 1.2.10

What can be the reason for that, Where is G_FILE_TEST_EXISTS and 
G_FILE_TEST_IS_REGULAR defined
