That one certainly is fixed in 0.6.1.

Why do you keep trying to compile 0.6.0? It has a couple annoying
problems that have been solved in the latest release.

And even if you get it to compile on FreeBSD, it'll probably fail to
link because of getopt_long.

I'm using 3.2.2 here without any problems, so that's not it :-)
