Hi!

I have just released GnuPG 1.9.1 - the *experimental* GnuPG branch
featuring S/MIME and OpenPGP card support. Available at:

 ftp://ftp.gnupg.org/gcrypt/alpha/gnupg/gnupg-1.9.1.tar.gz (1147k)
 ftp://ftp.gnupg.org/gcrypt/alpha/gnupg/gnupg-1.9.1.tar.gz.sig

or

 ftp://ftp.gnupg.org/gcrypt/alpha/gnupg/gnupg-1.9.0-1.9.1.diff.gz (34k)

News:

 * Support for OpenSC is back. scdaemon supports a --disable-opensc to
   disable OpenSC use at runtime, so that PC/SC or ct-API can still be
   used directly.

 * Rudimentary support for the SCR335 smartcard reader using an
   internal driver. Requires current libusb from CVS.

 * Bug fixes.

Don't forget that the old gpg program has been renamed to gpg2; this
is to allow installation of gnupg 1.9 parallel to gnupg 1.2 or 1.3.

Note, that this GnuPG branch might not work on non-POSIX platforms
and definitely not on those missing the funopen/fopencookie (3).

Shalom-Salam,

   Werner
