More technical information on the NeuG and its protocol

Hi all,

My question doesn't pertain to Gnuk, but to NeuG. I think the NeuG seems
like a wonderful device to get acquainted with lower-level programming,
and I'd like to write a utility to exercise all of its features.

However, the NeuG source goes over my head. I'm aware of the need to set
the terminal line discipline, but I'm looking for things like:
 * ways to control the LED
 * Linux ioctl()'s I should be aware of
 * how to make the Fraucheky disk visible again

If anyone has tips for programming with OpenPGP smartcards like the
Gnuk, which I happen to own as well, that would also be appreciated, as
I know those still have an accessible hardware random number generator.
(Can anyone recommend a good resource on PKCS#11? Maybe that's what I
want.)

Thanks all!
