There is a new release at ftp.guug.de/pub/gcrypt.

Noteworthy changes in version 0.2.9
-----------------------------------

    * Fixed FreeBSD bug.

    * Added a simple man page.

    * Switched to automake1.2f and a newer gettext.


I have problems with my FreeBSD (a file sometimes gets a time in the
future assigned), so I'm not really sure wheter it works. On my box
it worked when configured with --disable-nls
