GPG 0.9.0 on sunos 5.6

This is just, what I did ... But I wasnt able to pass all the tests (make check).
So my executable *seems* to work, but in fact gpg is messing up my messages, when
I trying so sign them ...

So here is my question: Did you pass the tests and how does 

        gpg  --clearsign -a Bob file

work for you ?
