ownertrust problem still in gpg 1.0.1e

Hi all,

there's a problem with owner trust values which is still present in
gnupg 1.0.1e. I'd like to know whether there's a workaround or one may
call it a bug.

I do have an imported key from another gpg 1.0.1 user (slightly obscured):

pub:f:1024:17:xxxxxxxxx:2000-04-05::146:f:John Doe <j.d at gmx.de>:
uid:q::::::::John Doe <j.d at yahoo.com>:
uid:q::::::::John Doe <j.d at msn.net>:
uid:f::::::::John Doe <j.d at geocities.com>:
sub:f:1024:16:xxxxxxxxx:2000-04-05::146::

Now, two UIDs have no full trust value, although I signed *all* UID wih
my key. Resigning them yields an error. I can't find a way to assign
full trust to all UIDs. Now, it is a niusance because if the encryption
recipient is one of the "untrusted ones", then gpg issues a warning:

>>>>>>>>>>
$ gpg-1.0.1e -r j.d at yahoo.com -e foo
gpg: NOTE: THIS IS A DEVELOPMENT VERSION!
gpg: It is only intended for test purposes and should NOT be
gpg: used in a production environment or with production keys!
Could not find a valid trust path to the key. Let's see whether we
can assign some missing owner trust values.

No certificates with undefined trust found.

1024g/xxxxxx 2000-04-05 "John Doe <j.d at yahoo.com>"
             Fingerprint: 09xx xxxx xxxx ...

It is NOT certain that the key belongs to its owner.
If you *really* know what you are doing, you may answer
the next question with yes
<<<<<<<<<<

... which is a bummer. I *know* what I'm doing! :-)

How do I assign full trust to all UIDs?

TIA,
Nils
