MingW32

Hi,

I have some trouble compiling the MingW32 Version of GnuPG (1.0.4).

joesixpack:~ #

checking whether the C compiler (i386--mingw32-gcc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem:
C compiler cannot create executables.

joesixpack:~ # i368--mingw32-gcc test.c

/usr/local/i386--mingw32/lib/crt0.o(.text+0x28):crt0.c:
undefined reference to _imp__iob'

Hmmm, when I take a look at the source it says:
/*
 * This is provided as a DLL symbol. Unfortunately that means we have to
 * dance around the thunk created by dlltool to get at the real address.
 * __imp__iob is a symbol created by dlltool containing a real pointer
 * to _iob. If we used _iob directly we'd get a pointer to the thunk.
 */

Here are the version I use:

mingw32-cpd-0.2.4.tar.gz
gcc-core-2.95.2.tar.gz
binutils-2.9.1.tar.gz
windows32api-0.1.2.tar.gz

The win32 API headers and import libs are both installed.

Thanks in advance,

	Timo
