Windoze HKP problems

Hi,

In the last few days I dectected some problems with the HKP
keyserver when I used socket code for Windoze. It's not a problem
to write input to the server but in any case the reading process
was blocked. I tried to add a timeout but without any success.
Then I tried to use the same code with Linux and it works without
any problems. 

And the result the GPG --recv-key 0x12345678 process (W32) goes
into an infinite loop. (I tested it with several keyservers)


Does anybody know how to bypass this problem or perhaps if there is
even a real solution?
