I realised that this might be sensible after I posted the original patch.
I'll do a version with that this evening.

It just annoyed me that GnuPG has a capability to write the notations into
signatures but no way to read them back and be able to actually *check*
the validity of the signature at the same time. You can do one or the other
but not both.
