Just tried it:

| Please select what kind of key you want:
| (1) DSA and ElGamal (default)
| (2) DSA (sign only)
| (4) ElGamal (sign and encrypt)
| (5) RSA (sign only)
| Your selection? 5
| About to generate a new RSA keypair.
| minimum keysize is 768 bits
| default keysize is 1024 bits
| highest suggested keysize is 2048 bits
| What keysize do you want? (1024) 768
| keysize too small; 1024 is smallest value allowed for RSA.
| What keysize do you want? (1024)

This seems to be a defect.

| Note that this key cannot be used for encryption. You may want to use
| the command "--edit-key" to generate a secondary key for this purpose.

Why no RSA sign and encrypt keys?
