I realized that the cygwin 1.0.7 patch I posted in my last mail contained
a lot of cygwin specific packaging stuff plus the unneeded libtool changes.
I quickly run through the changes and applied the needed ones to the current
cvs version. Unfortunately gettext 0.11.2 is slightly different to the
0.10.? version so there are still changes in the autogen.sh.
I tested that the patched sources build with cygwin AND as a mingw32
executable created with cygwin.
I broke the patch into small pieces, one patchfile per file.
The Makevars file is for the newer gettext and has to be copied into po/
I hope this way it is easier for you.
All patches are only a few lines (in maximum), I don't claim any legal
rights on them. I know this is not enough to use them directly, no signed
copyright assignment, but feel free to use them when you check if you got
everything right for the cygwin version ;-)
If you have questions, maybe concerning the cygwin textmode issue, just
ask.
