Hi all,

i am facing a problem to delete the keys from the keyring from the
command line in GPG..

>gpg --fingerprint mmmmmmm

gpg: Warning: unsafe permissions on directory "/home/XXX/yyy"
gpg: Warning: unsafe permissions on file "/home/XXX/yyyy/pubring.gpg"
pub 1024D/E91C6FC1 2002-07-08 mmmmmmm ((pp=mmmmmmm,try=1)) <user at 127.0.0.1>
     Key fingerprint = F7A0 E344 A285 FD91 CEFD 4B96 F35E D62B E91C 6FC1
sub 1024g/76240917 2002-07-08

>gpg --batch --comment "" --status-fd 1 --no-tty --verbose --delete-secret-and-public-key -- F7A0E344A285FD91CEFD4B96F35ED62BE91C6FC1

gpg: Warning: unsafe permissions on directory "/home/XXX/yyy"
gpg: Warning: unsafe permissions on file "/home/XXX/yyy/pubring.gpg"
gpg: can't do that in batchmode
gpg: F7A0E344A285FD91CEFD4B96F35ED62BE91C6FC1: delete key failed: eof

Why the key deletion fails in GPG? how to correct it?

thanks and regards,
S. Thanga Prakash.
