Hi,
the GPGME CryptPlug plug-in "gpgmeplug" has now been split off into a
separate package, "cryptplug". The package is available from:
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.gnupg.org:/cvs/aegypten login
Password is "anoncvs".
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.gnupg.org:/cvs/aegypten checkout cryptplug
However, this will give you the development version of cryptplug, which is
intended for use with the current development version of GPGME. The version
you should use is the one from the stable branch, which is for use with the
stable branch of GPGME 0.3.x. This is why you should use the following
command:
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.gnupg.org:/cvs/aegypten -r cryptplug-0-3-branch checkout cryptplug
The GPGME library needs to be installed first and is detected automatically,
see the README for instructions how to override or enforce this. Packaged
releases of cryptplug will be done in the future. The next GPGME package
will not include the plugins.
Because this is now in cryptplug and not in GPGME, the location of the
installed plug-ins is $(libdir)/cryptplug/ and not $(libdir)/gpgme/ by
default (in general, $(pkglibdir) is used). The name of the plugins remains
the same (gpgme-openpgp and gpgme-smime). Further cryptplugs might be added
at a future time.
Thanks,
Marcus
