Does anyone know if there are any python tools able to read and analyse
(or at least place into a data structure) an Open PGP message?

In particular, I'm very interested in OpenPGP public key messages.

I've had a quick look at pyme, but it seems to not work properly with
the latest gpg (I dont know if it works with earlier ones) - in fact the
pyme/gpgme stuff seems a little confusing to me - especially the bit
where there appear to be no physical dependencies upon the underlying
gnupg includes and libs. This rather indicates that gpgme kicks off gpg
as a coprocess - if I wanted that behaviour, I could just use a shell
script (well an expect script anyway...).
