Other HP issues

I have been able to compile gpg, it seems.  However some commands do not
work.  --import on my public keys from another server with gpg running
AIX have not worked, however importing secret keys works.  Also, I am
unfamiliar with how to escape from the text that asks me to type my
message.  Again, this is all on an HP-UX 11.00 machine.  Any help would
be greatly appreciated
