Have you remembered to run ldconfig?

Hi,
every time i try to configure newpg it shows me the error it is not able to
find libgcrypt although i installed libgcrypt some seconds before.
Is there any possibility to show newpg where it can find libgcyrpt?
First I tried to install everything using another order, but could that be
the
reason?
I leaved the configure options of gpgme blank (so no --without-gpgsm like
showed in http://kmail.kde.org/kmail-pgpmime-howto.html), but i installed it
a second time with this option an nothing changed.
Maybe I can uninstall all the programs to reinstall them on a 'blank'
machine?
But how to uninstall them.
If I am OT here please tell me where i can ask, i don't know what to do...
The main reason why I try to isntall everything is that I need it for
PGP/MIME
support in Kmail (1.5)
