An auto-key-retrieve question.

Does GnuPG 1.2.4 or higher have an option which would enable one, when
verifying a signature, to automatically retrieve the signing key from the
keyserver, BUT would also enable me to view the key details and cancel the
import after the retrieval if I wish? PGP allows one to examine the key
details and signatures before actually importing the key into the keyring,
which can be cancelled after retrieving the key, if so desired.
