gnupg2-1.9.20: continued 'make check' failures: x86_64, ppc

We're seeing (continued) failures when issuing 'make check' after 
successful build on non-ix86 platforms (x86_64 and ppc in particular).

I personally only have access to ix86 boxes, so cannot diagnose much 
more myself.
