is that a typo? they're on by default... this causes gpg to
import/export...?
also, it seems that the "historical feature" of sending some verbose
output (with multiple "-v") to stdout has been changed (dare i say
"fixed?"). woo-hoo! i don't see that mentioned in the change-log.
