| is to upgrade Enigmail.  There was an early problem with that
| combination that was fixed in Enigmail.  It might not be your problem,

I've 0.90.0 and the latest is 0.90.1 so I'll try. Actually, it seems
that deleting the option "--charset utf8" works fine.
