Some build fixes

Hello Werner, 

I don't know if you are aware of these patches that are being used by 
Gentoo.

fbsd - allow compilation under...
make - solves parallel make issue.
pic - check macro __PIC__ instead of PIC (gcc uses __PIC__)

Also for libgcrypt at mpi/config.links, the test for powerpc64*-*-* 
will never be reached since there is powerpc*-*-linux* before.
