Hi,

this is just to let you know that I have made some progress with ECDSA
support for GPGSM. With the SVN versions of libgcrypt, libksba and
gnupg it is now possible to import at least one certificate:

 http://dev.experimentalstuff.com:8082/certs/secp256r1ca.cert.pem

Serial number: 3A
       Issuer: /CN=dev.experimentalstuff.com/OU=Test CA (secp256r1)/O=Sun Microsystems Laboratories/L=Mountain View/ST=CA/C=US
      Subject: /CN=dev.experimentalstuff.com/OU=Test CA (secp256r1)/O=Sun Microsystems Laboratories/L=Mountain View/ST=CA/C=US
     validity: 2005-12-06 21:29:53 through 2010-01-14 21:29:53
     key type: 256 bit ECDSA
 chain length: unlimited
  fingerprint: 43:3A:10:57:83:6D:87:E7:BC:C2:B5:64:8A:75:0F:17:BF:73:E2:4A

importing also means that the signature has been checked. Stay tuned.

Salam-Shalom,

   Werner
