You can create a keyspec file and use that. Example command:

    gpg --gen-key --no-tty --batch <keyspec

Example keyspec:

-----BEGIN-----
Key-Type: RSA
Key-Length: 2048
Subkey-Type: RSA
Subkey-Length: 2048
Name-Real: Foo bar <baz>
-----END-----

This is without passphrase, see gnupg docs for more details.

Take a look at passphrase-fd, not sure if it works for this but worth a try.
