Please elaborate your problem.  I think that the change of GnuPG in
STABLE-BRANCH-2-0 is not that big since 2.0.19, but most changes are
for SCDaemon.

There are gpg, gpg-agent, and scdaemon (I attached a figure.  It's for
Gnuk Token, please read as it's your card reader + OpenPGP card).

(1) Does GnuPG STABLE-BRANCH-2-0 work well standalone for signing
    when not using OpenPGP card?
(1-1) How about GnuPG 1.4.13, when (1) is NO?
(2) Is it a failure when you did "gpg --edit-key" and "keytocard"?
(3) Or else, is it a failure when you did try to sign with the card?
