Batch Ed25519 key generation

Dear list,

With a freshly compiled gnupg-2.1.0 on an up-to-date Arch Linux system,
running:

gpg2 --batch --full-gen-key <<EOF
%no-protection
Key-Type: EDDSA
Key-Curve: Ed25519
Name-Real: Gaetan Bisson
%commit
EOF

I get:

gpg: Ohhhh jeeee: can't encode a 256 bit MD into a 80 bits frame, algo=8
Aborted (core dumped)

Is this expected? How should I go about batch creating Ed25519 keys?
