gnu privacy handbook move to git?

Hi GnuPG folks--

I notice from https://gnupg.org/download/cvs_access.html that the GNU
Privacy Handbook (GPH) is still hosted via cvs instead of git:

  GPH
    The GNU Privacy Handbook 

  cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.gnupg.org:/cvs/gph co gph

Is the GPH still maintained?  If so, is this something that needs to be
moved to git so that future contributions use the same workflow?  I can
do the initial conversion if that would be useful.
