gpg 2.1: no error message if gpg-agent or pinentry fail

I have to bring up this topic again for gpg 2.1.10.
If I use "gpg2 --status-fd 1 --sign", and there is a pinentry error,
there is the following error message:
[GNUPG:] FAILURE sign 67108949
But for "gpg2 --status-fd 1 --decrypt" there is no such message anymore,
and no "ERROR" message either.
