The nice thing about this bug report is that the reporter is
acknowledging that his script was broken and wants to fix it :)
Even better would be to provide him with a stable interface to do what
he wants to do :)
fwiw, i also recently saw:
https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=19002
this was code that assumed that it knew exactly how many fields GnuPG
would emit in its machine-parseable form.
I've opened:
https://bugs.gnupg.org/gnupg/issue2437
to try to encourage better communication between gnupg and its
programmatic downstream consumers.
