Well, OpenPGP allows the specification of an UID to describe the used
curve.  What kind of curve this is is not specified and thus our use of
X25519 is compliant with the standard.  RFC4880bis will likely document
the OID and the specification for X25519 and maybe even declare this as
SHOULD or MUST algorithm.

For Ed25519 we use an entire different algorithm which would have been
to ugly to somehow declare this as an ECDSA variant.  The description is
already part of RFC4880bis (the plannned updated of OpenPGP).
