Standard or Default?

In the .pot file, there are some lines that say "standard keys" and
"standard options".

In my country a standard and something being default are two different
concepts and words. A standard is some model made by an authority that
is widely used. Something being default, is the configuration of
something by omission. Two different things.

Should this lines, instead of being written as "standard keys" or as
"standard options", have been written as "default keys" and "default
options" ?

And, is "standard" in these lines (just search for "standard keys" and
"standard options") synonymous of "default"?

Thanks
