Question regarding clearsigning emails automatically

I fail to see why anyone would want to automatically sign all mails. The
act of signing means something like "I have read/written the above. I
agree with this. To certify this fact, I hereby sign it." That means:
signing has to be a conscious act. If it's done automatically, it's not
conscious and the signature loses its meaning ...
