This is not a good idea, as there are several flaws that can occur. First, you have to automate deciding which keys you want to encrypt to, and this is likely not a system-wide thing you want to enforce. Second, you would need to be able to handle things like errors from GnuPG and such. And there are a bunch more issues. It's not a plug-and-play scenario. GnuPG is designed for user-level usage, as OpenPGP is generally designed as an user-to-user protection. Trying to setup something system-wide would not advised. - -- Frank Tobin http://www.uiuc.edu/~ftobin/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.1e (FreeBSD) Comment: pgpenvelope 2.8.8 - http://pgpenvelope.sourceforge.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAjlb0NsACgkQVv/RCiYMT6Pp4ACgkPUIRyfk2GM++mvWUKDSzACP TDgAn2lMFV8PXQ2Z2ci73NSUH/syycV5 =cisT -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
