expire of Key-Ring

Hello GnuPG-User,

I have a Public-Key-Pair which is expired since September,
but i want to use it again. 

gpg --edit-key brodkorb
Secret key is available.

gpg: key E5C454E1.59: expired at Sun Sep 24 09:07:32 2000 CEST
pub  1024D/E5C454E1  created: 2000-07-26 expires: 2000-09-24 trust:
-/e
sub  1024g/87154F46  created: 2000-07-26 expires: 2000-09-24

Command> expire
....
Is this correct (y/n)?
....
Command> save

gpg: NOTE: signature key expired Sun Sep 24 09:07:32 2000 CEST

What can I do?
