Hi,

I'm trying to build gnupg-1.0.6 on powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.3.0. I've
tried various configurations, like:

setenv CFLAGS "-g -O2 -mcpu=powerpc"
./configure --prefix=$HOME/usr --enable-static-rnd=none
make

But it always fails with the following messages (and some more
warning I'm skipping here):

[...]
Making all in cipher
make[2]: Entering directory `/uf2a/heckenb/src/gnupg-1.0.6/cipher'
/uf2a/heckenb/script/gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../include -I../intl -g -O2 -mcpu=powerpc -Wall -DIS_MODULE -shared -o rndlinux ./rndlinux.c
./rndlinux.c: In function `gather_random':

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/uf2a/heckenb/src/gnupg-1.0.6'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I've found nothing about this problem in the docs, and nothing AIX
specific except the "MPI stuff" for which I've set the CFLAGS as
described.

Any ideas?

Frank
