No, also with the IDEA plugin it won't decrypt conventionally encrypted pgp
2 files. And since I don't use those files for commercial purposes it would
not be a violation of the license - if I cared about that.
And if we leave the IDEA matter: when I use a hacked version of pgp 2,
2.6.3ia-multi04, with the CAST5 algorithm, I get exactly the same error.
When I decrypt a conventionally encrypted file with gpg I get a "bed key"
error, although the used algorithm is recognized:
vulcan:~/tmp> gpg -v nokia.htm.asc
gpg: armor header: Version: 2.6.3ia-multi04
gpg: CAST5 encrypted data
gpg: decryption failed: bad key
The following file is encrypted conventionally with pgp 2.6.3ia-multi04,
with -cat, using the CAST5 algo, with password "test" (without the ""). I
can't decrypt it with gpg. I have no problems trying to debug this myself,
but in which piece of the gnupg code does this go wrong?
