7.0.X also have problems with v4 sigs. PGP 7.X can only verify detached v4 signatures and clearsignatures but not signatures (CKT now can) below is a message signed with "gpg --openpgp -sa -u 0x2E250C64 a.txt" that will not verify with PGP7.X, but will verify with GPG and PGP6.5.8ckt06 - -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org owGbwMvMwCRoEOUbqKfKk8K4RieJNVGvpKLE2rKZXRcGeLlqFMCiCjW8XEiiHW4s DIJMDGysTCDlDFycAjCDYpsYFuzXWWTSHs3OGnaA48InD60rnDO/szIs+JotvkOT h/34pEd8US96Lj5Scj78FgA= =Zf41 - -----END PGP MESSAGE----- == <EOF> == Disastry http://i.am/disastry/ http://disastry.dhs.org/pgp <----PGP plugins for Netscape and MDaemon ^--GPG for Win32 (supports loadable modules and IDEA) ^---PGP 2.6.3ia-multi04 (supports IDEA, CAST5, BLOWFISH, TWOFISH, AES, 3DES ciphers and MD5, SHA1, RIPEMD160 hashes) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: Netscape PGP half-Plugin 0.15 by Disastry / PGPsdk v1.7.1 iQA/AwUBOxCLHjBaTVEuJQxkEQKWSACfW+upusiHOaF3U6hk+2Vp+d6G594AoIiF 9vUL4JpThZT6WWn67DaeOBWl =O9yP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
