I have to withdraw the previous statement. KMail behaves correctly. I
made a mistake when I tried to reproduce this "bug". For the record:
I forgot that messages which are saved in the drafts folder are always
saved without word wrapping. Therefore I thought there was a problem
with word wrapping when I saved a test message (with encryption and
word wrapping turned on) to the drafts folder. I just tested it again
except that I saved the test message this time in the outbox. Et voila.
It works as expect, i.e. flawless.
The problem with the decrypted message being one long line seems to be
caused by a crappy MUA (in this case Lotus Notes) which doesn't
correctly interpret Unix style line endings, i.e. LF (as opposed to
CR+LF in Windows).
Question:
Is it possible to tell GnuPG to convert all LF's to CR+LF's before
encrypting a text message?
Adding the --textmode option to the encryption command line has no
effect.

Ingo
