Oort Gnus supports plain PGP (RFC 1991/2440), PGP/MIME (RFC 2015/3156)
and S/MIME (RFC 2633), but it needs a backend to interface with a PGP
implementation, Mailcrypt or gpg.el works well with GnuPG.  It can
fetch S/MIME certs from DNS as well.
