GnuPG and Signing Problem

Under linux i cant get the email to auto Sign in Kmail
or any other email clinet.

The only thing that works is GnuPG Encryption which i
dont relly need when sending emails.


I got Public and Secret keys.

The icon for Signing the email in Kmail is grayed out.


I ran the GUI of GnuPG and tryed to sign a few junk
lines.

it ask me for what key to use and the only thing in
the list is Secret key.  i tryed that key but it just
encrypted the message.


Im new to linux and need help getten this setup
working 

so i can auto sign my out going email.
