SDAs and GnuPG on Win (was: FW: Inquiry)

Yeah, it'd be nice if it were packaged into a self-extracting EXE using Info-Zip. Info-Zip is licensed under a BSD style license, but someone with a DOS machine would have to do it.

The required files for English users add up to less than 700k, and would presumably be able to run from a floppy. A reasonably sized set of keyrings, trustdb, and a random_seed file should fit too. It would not make a good permanent setup, but you could carry it to a client's office and use it without installing anything. You should be able to get around the registry setting by specifying "--homedir a:/" on the command line. Still, SDA's to serve a purpose for sending to people without having to worry about them downloading anything. Tony - -- Anthony E.
