You are probably feeding garbled messages to gpg. Maybe you
incorrectly downloaded those messages (e.g. using text mode for binary
files)
BTW, your message had a signature of 17 lines wheras 4 are generally
considered as acceptable. Furthermore the longest line had 571
characters which is in violation of rfc2822 (Internet message
format). Please tell your postmaster to read the Netiquette and fix
this footer. A message "confirms .. has been swept by .. for the
presence of computer virii" is plain nonsense and just shows that the
folks who wrote this software have no clues about security issues.
