Problem with trustdb

I am running gpg v1.2.1:

Supported algorithms:
Pubkey: RSA, RSA-E, RSA-S, ELG-E, DSA, ELG
Cipher: 3DES, CAST5, BLOWFISH, AES, AES192, AES256, TWOFISH
Hash: MD5, SHA1, RIPEMD160
Compress: Uncompressed, ZIP, ZLIB


My trustdb is corrupted once in a while. My questions are:
1. What cause this problem? Is there a patch for this problem?
2. How do get around this problem?

I have scanned the user email threads and saw some users with similar 
problem. But, I did not see any responds.
