gpg - PGP compatibility ?

I'm having a different problem from GnuPG 1.0.7 to PGP 6.5.8.  Their end
does not error out, it writes a file, but the output file is identical to
the encrypted file I send them.

As for Rick's problem, wonder if GPG is using a compression algo that PGP
doesn't handle well.  Can you try it without any compression?
