If you are using Enigmail with an older GPG version (1.0.x), I suggest
upgrading to the current 1.2.2. This is a common complaint on the Enigmail
list.

Since GPG works from the command line, this appears to be an issue with
the email addons. You may wish to ask on the Enigmail list
(mailto:Enigmail@mozdev.org).  It helps to include version info: OS (&
distro), GPG, Mozilla/Enigmail.
