for those times when the sender wants more e-mail anonymity

(this can be done with the same result by doing as you say,
by encrypting to one of the sender's keys that are reserved for this
purpose, but never uploaded to any server,)

it's just that not having the message encrypted to anyone else except
the receiver (as in some remailer messages) improves the anonymity
