gpg without commands

hi,

I accidently noticed, that GNUPG also starts without any command.
In the German version it then shows

gpg: WARNUNG: Sensible Daten k=F6nnten auf Platte ausgelagert werden.
gpg: siehe http://www.gnupg.org/faq.html f=FCr weitere Informationen
gpg: Auf geht's - Botschaft eintippen ...

waiting for the user to insert his message, he wants to encrypt.

Does anyone know, where to find documentation how to use it in this mode=20
(invoking without command), cause I don't find any?
